Has Four Years of Olson Made Any Postive Impact ??

I think we are worse off than when Olson took office and the Prince George's County Government is not any better off either. Most of the municipalities that I have talked to and New Carrollton have not been able to develop or annex properties in a sensible way that would benefit the County and the citizens in the long run.We need Focused, Efficient,& Effective Leadership(FEEL). My position on most of the issues has not changed very much over the last four years.

There are at least three(3) major issue that I will concentrate on after being elected.

(1.)Prince Georges County and its Municipalities have been denied the HOME RULE RIGHTS that were given to all other Counties and Municipalities in 1954 within the state and because of this arrangement the tax payers suffer in an oppressive"taxation without representation" environment that encourages unaccountable actions.

(2)WSSC keeps jamming its' rate increases down our throats for infrastructure improvements while the County Executive and County Council fail to recognize that capital expenditures(infrastructure improvements) are not operating expenditures and therefore they should not be compensated for them in their rate base. WSSC's budget contained over 40% in capital improvements which should be reimbursed based on a Land Value Tax which would be more progressive than rate increases that hurt the poor in Prince Georges County.Based on all the demographic information that I have provided to the County Executives office, our residents are overcharged by this state mandated commission.

(3) The reinstate or judicial review of the funding cuts to State Highway User Revenues to Counties and Cities within the state of Maryland. This is a LAW that has been violated repeatedly. These are highway entitlements set up for local governments based on a formula which only allows for a 25% reduction but everybody experienced a 90% cuts except Baltimore City.

Eric Olson's campaign funds represented over 40% from out of state liberal special interest groups and over 70% where outside of Prince Georges County. Is he representing the people in the 3rd District of Prince George's County or special interest groups ????I am Democratic because I believe that the government is of the people,by the people and for the people. My campaign is totally funded by me.Those voters in the 3rd district may send a contribution to PAC for JAW,PO Box 1244,Lanham,MD 20703.

In addition, any special interest questionnaire or survey of three pages or less will be answered for a contribution of $500 or more.Questionnaires more than three pages require a contribution of $1,000 or more. District 3 residents may e-mail me at askjimnc@juno.com with their questions, comments or issues for free. Please include your name, address and a valid phone number to receive a response.

THANK YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING & YOUR VOTE

Those that volunteered to help my bid for the County Council will be invited to the Voulunteer Appreciation Dinner. We had Democrats , Republicans & Independents helping us in a concerted effort to stop the liberal special interest groups & individuals that plan on increasing taxes and not requiring accountability of our current officials properly.Look at your tax bill the county portion does not include MNCPPC. Does'nt the County Council approve MNCPPC budget ?? Why is it not included as a County tax ?? I think local voters got caught up in the National trend to vote for Democrats rather than make decisions on the issues in the county such as education, public safety, TRIM,Term Limits, and Traditional family values. Will we have lower taxes, better schools, a lower crime rate, working class health care,or proper accountability in four years with the elected county council ?? Time will tell

VOTE your conscience

10% of voters are liberal & conservative and make up the loudest group of each party but most voters are closer to the centrist/moderate area of thinking which is 80% of the voting population.JIM WILDONER is a centrist while his opponent is a Liberal socialist trained by one for four years in Congress(Bernie Sanders). Prince Georges has term limits and TRIM which means most of the voters regardless of party are for fiscal responsibility and against the machine politics of the past.JIM WILDONER is for maintaining both TRIM & TERM LIMITS while his opponent would work to abolish both.

LIBERALS = Favor Civil Liberties not Economic Liberties 10%

CONSERVATIVES=Favor Economic Liberties not Civil Liberties 10%

MODERATES/CENTRIST = Favor Economic & Civil Liberties

80% of voters are closer to JIM WILDONER's views than his opponent's.

VOTE WILD ONE & get things DONE

JIM WILDONER for COUNTY COUNCIL

County Council District 3 Voters have a choice of Independent Representation or Liberal Special Interest Groups

Jim Wildoner has used his own money for his campaign so he can serve all voters and all cities without the bias of liberal or conservative special interest groups or individuals. Jim Wildoner is an advocate for all residents and endorses lowering crime rates, better performing schools, sensible development and to be fiscally sound keep TRIM. Voters must endorse Jim Wildoner to receive independent representation or be ruled by LIBERAL special interest groups that have given up to $80,000 to my opponents campaign. Vote WILD ONE and get things DONE on November 7th. JIM WILDONER for COUNTY COUNCIL

Prince Georges Charter Referendums A thru H

People have asked me. How should I vote on the Charter Amendments ??On most of the amendments, there is not enough information to make an informed decision and some appear to be involved with policy rather than real broad charter issues. The folks at IGS/UMD have stated that no other counties in Maryland have these type of charter issues adopted. I recommend that you vote against ALL of them (A thru H).There are other ways to accomplish what is trying to be done here and when elected I will propose them.(See Link Prince Georges POLICY (Charter)Amendments to the right)The Gazette's position is totally wrong about these Charter referendums and its' funny how they print more details than provided to the public on the actual ballot.

The General Election is the time to vote for the right person not party.(I voted for Tom Hendershot in the last general election)

10 Reasons to Vote for WILD ONE and get things DONE

(1) Traditional family values and morals

(2) SAVE TRIM. VOTE JIM !

(3) JIM WILDONER is in a working class family with an extensive union background.

(4) JIM WILDONER is working on an affordable health care proposal for the working class poor.(those that do not qualify for medicaid)

(5) JIM WILDONER wants improvement in Public Schools(Graduated from Bladensburg High as did Wayne Curry) and has proposed teaching to the learning style and not to the test plus real community schools with transportation cost savings used to fund more teachers.

(6) JIM WILDONER 's NCSA mentorship program with Duval/Central High School & a private corporation has produced part time jobs and two full scholarships at major universities. One scholarship was to the University of Maryland.

(7) JIM WILDONER would strongly recommend a study of our Prince George's police force and incarcerations to improve the quality of life for all residents.

(8 )My opponent is a nice public policy guy but look at what all our nice public policy guys have done for us. One of the highest crime rates in the state,a failing school system, and a decaying infrastructure that should be replenished without sprawl.

(9) JIM WILDONER will not owe any special interest, endorsers,or advocacy groups anything because he is independent and would be an advocate for all cities and voters after being endorsed by your VOTE on November 7th.

(10) JIM WILDONER adds skill diversity to the County Council which is top heavy with five public policy people.

Remember,VOTE WILD ONE and get things DONE on November 7th.
